A Buena Park Charter City Initiative, Measure P was on the November 4, 2008 ballot in Orange County, California, for voters in the City of Buena Park.^[1]

The question voters were asked to consider is, "Shall the Charter be adopted making the City of Buena Park a charter city--instead of remaining a general law city--so the City of Buena Park, rather than the State, has more control over its municipal affairs?"^[2]

Measure P was approved with 58.3% of the vote.
