The City of Berkeley voter approval of bus-only lanes initiative, Measure KK was on the November 4, 2008 ballot in Alameda County for voters in the City of Berkeley, California. KK was a citizen-initiated measure.[1]

  • Measure KK was defeated with 23.30% of the vote.

Measure KK, if it has passed, would have required that every time the Berkeley City Council wanted to make a street lane change, it would have had to put the proposed change on the ballot for citywide voter approval.

Measure KK said:

"Shall the initiative ordinance Requiring Voter Approval of Exclusive Transit-Only and HOV/Bus-Only Lanes be adopted?"
