The Town of Ashippun Referendum was referred to the November 4, 2008 ballot in Dodge County, Wisconsin. Currently, the town clerk/treasurer of Ashippun is an elected position. This referendum seeks to make it a position appointed by the town board. The measure was approved by 52% of the vote.

“Shall the person holding the office of town clerk/treasurer in the town of Ashippun be appointed by the town board?” [1]
Status
Approved, with 712 "yes" votes (52.82%) and 636 "no" votes (47.18%). [2]
