The signature requirements for the state of Arkansas differ between a statutory initiative, referendum, and a constitutional amendment.
- For a statutory initiative in the state of Arkansas, 8% of the vote cast for Governor is required in signatures. The last election for governor took place in 2006.
- For a constitutional amendment in Arkansas, 10% of the vote cast for Governor is required.
- 6% is required for veto referendum

Geographic distribution
Arkansas has a geographic distribution requirement for signatures. Signatures must be from 4% of registered voters from at least 15 of 75 counties for a statutory initiative or referendum, and 5% of registered voters from at least 15 of 75 counties for a constitutional amendment.
