Arden Anderson (b. September 3, 1942) is a Democratic member of the North Dakota Senate, representing District 25.

Education

Anderson earned his Associates in Accounting and Business Practice at the North Dakota College of Science in 1962.

Professional experience

Anderson was a General Ledger/Auditor for Community First National Bank-Wahpeton from 1962 to 1968. He then worked as a Clerk for Wahpeton Park Board from 1967 to 1995. He also worked as City Auditor/Finance Officer for the City of Wahpeton from 1968 to 2003.

Political experience

Anderson was a North Dakota State Representative from 1963 to 1964. He was a candidate for the North Dakota State Senate, District 25, in 2002. He then served in the North Dakota State House from 2003 to 2004. He was then a candidate for the North Dakota State House of Representatives, District 25, in 2004. He has been Chairman of the 25th District Democratic Non-Partisan League Party from 2005 to the present. He joined the North Dakota State Senate in 2007 and has served in that position since. He represents the 25th district.
