Al White (b. June 22, 1950) has been a Republican member of the Colorado Senate since 2004. He represents the 8th district.
Education
White attended Western Illinois University from 1968 to 1970. He then earned his BA in English from the University of Colorado in 1972.
Professional experience
White served in the United States Army from 1970 to 1971. He then worked as Owner/Manager of Golden Spike Ski Shops, Incorporated, from 1976 to 2000. He is currently the owner of a Ski Business.
Political experience
White served in the Colorado State House of Representatives from 2000 to 2008. During this time he served as Assistant Majority Leader. He then joined the Colorado State Senate in 2008. He has served in that position since, representing the 8th district.

White and his wife, Jean, have two children.
