Seven ballot measures were on the 2002 ballot in Alaska. Six were on the November general election ballot; one was on the statewide primary ballot.
- Wording for 13 citizen initiatives was submitted, but only 4 qualified.
- From 1960, the first year Alaskans voted on an initiative, through 2002, Alaskans considered a total of 34 statewide initiatives, approving 18 and rejecting 16.
