Abortion initiative filed in Montana

HELENA, Montana. Rick Jore has filed the wording for an initiated constitutional amendment that would amend the Montana Constitution to say that human life begins at fertilization.^[1]

Jore's group collected signatures on a similar effort in 2008 but failed to collect enough signatures.
